Lincolns Finish First
Last night the St Marys Lincolns defeated the Sarnia Blast 6-5 in the final game of the regular season of the Western Junior B Hockey League. The victory left the Lincolns on top of the standings of the 9-team league tied with Chatham Maroons with 68 points. The last time the Lincolns finished first was in the 1993-94 season. 435 attended bringing the season total for the 24 home games to 10,940.
The Lincolns will now play 8th place finisher London Nationals in the quarter finals. First game of the best of 7 series is Friday at 7:45 pm in St Marys.
