Plowing match

The International Plowing Match and Rural Expo runs from September 20 to 24 in Listowel north of St Marys. It goes from 8:30am to 5pm with tickets costing $12 for adults and $6 for children. Last year's event in Meaford had an attendance of 83,550 and about 150 plowmen. Shown is a local hog and cash crop farmer with his Belgian work horses that he only uses in plowing matches and parades.
